Foundation in Crystal Therapy and Certificate in Crystal Therapy
Distance learning courses are a flexible way to learn new skills and update your existing ones. The Foundation Course in Crystal Therapy is fully comprehensive and contains the ACHO Core Curriculum as a correspondence course. The aim of the correspondence course is to provide each student with a high level of knowledge and skill in the theory and practice of Crystal Therapy. It is not recognised or endorsed by ACHO, but it stands in its own merit and can be upgraded to the Certificate in Crystal Therapy by completing the Anatomy and Physiology module and attending two practical assessment days.
Home Study Hours:
This is only an approximate figure and is dependant upon how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how well you grasp the learning concepts in the course material. The approximate amount of time required to complete the course is: 90 hours. You study at your own pace and in your own time and you can choose optional training days to gain practical hands-on experience. Materials are provided by e.mail or by post.
Tutor Support:
With this course you will have access to your own personal tutor who is a specialist in this field of study. It is your personal tutor's role to ensure that you receive constructive feedback and to deal with any queries you may have. You are more than welcome to telephone or email your personal tutor. This ensures that you will never feel neglected and that you will always succeed!
Requirements for Entry:
There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds. It is practical training to help you get the essential qualifications to help you achieve your goals in life. Crystal Healing Therapists are now accepted and recognized worldwide and this course will provide you with sufficient knowledge and expertise to use this therapy.

In order to meet a professional standard, you will need to show you have a thorough working knowledge of the ACHO core curriculum syllabus stones and are proficient in a recognised form of diagnosis; that you have grasped the theory and practice of crystal therapy, including professional ethics and running a healing practice. Practical and written work will be required and certificates will be awarded on the basis of tutor, client and self assessment.
Assessor and Evidence:
A tutor after consultation with the learner assesses:
The learner's evidence portfolio - this should include for each module:
* An evaluation journal, either as a 1,000-word essay or as day-to-day experiences
* Units 1 to 18 which form the basis of the Foundation level evidence portfolio. The units must be kept in sequential numerical order.
Additional Requirements:
You will be require to keep a Learners Evidence Portfolio of all your written-work. This must include:
* Notes taken during therapy sessions.
* A Bibliography must be kept - showing books and articles read throughout the course.
* A list must be kept of other courses or workshops attended during the course.
* Assessment Sheets: For the Foundation Level: 5 case studies need to be completed, as do learners assessment sheets and client assessment forms. Assessment is continuous with no final exam.
Membership
Students who successfully complete the Certificate in Crystal Therapy courses are entitled to use the appropriate denigratory letters after their name.
Certificate in Crystal Therapy of The Hazel Raven College of Bio-Dynamics. This grade of membership is only available to HRCB students, who have successfully completed the Certificate in Crystal Therapy. It allows them to use the letters HRCB CT after their name.

Module 8: (Optional): Anatomy and Physiology
This module is available as a home-study course. It is the equivalent of 40 tutor-hours. The HRCB accepts evidence of prior learning. Such as. ITEC, VTCT, FHT, APNT, 'O'/A level Human Biology, etc.

The cost of The Foundation Course in Crystal Therapy is £420
This is payable in instalments. There are 6 modules with an optional practical assessment module. The cost of each module is £70. This is payable by credit card or debit card or UK pounds sterling cheque. Each module is only sent out on completion of the prior module.
The cost of the A&P module is £70
The cost of the Practical Assessment Module to upgrade your Foundation Certificate to a Certificate in Crystal Therapy will vary depending on the location.
Insurance To Practice
Medical Auxiliary Insurance Brokers have indicated that they will insure practitioners to offer crystal therapy treatments following successful completion of the correspondence course Foundation level and by attending the practical assessment days which upgrades the qualification to Certificate in Crystal Therapy.
